how i closeted myself today

so, after all these years... 14 years out. 6 years in a relationship. nothing ever to hide from anyone about it. and sometimes even an activist about it------------after all of that when the sprint representative wondered if my 'boyfriend' was the one in canada that would be calling me all the time------all i could utter was 'something like that.'

what other whitty things could i have come up with?

'my wife is using our phone in the states and i'm still in canada.'
