things are a little different and a little the same and mostly the same. you buy things with money called dollars (or loonies as it were if it's cheap). there are these yellow string lights w/ X's in them in the middle of some streets---that's something you'd never see in the US. oh, yah, and if you open your car door w/o looking and hit a cyclist, you get a $110 fine and 2 demerit points.
